History
Orginally begun in 1992 as part of the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Department of Radiology, WCC was established as an independent company in 1995. As a valuable addition to our in-house team, we today maintain a strategic relationship with the MGH Department of Radiology, which allows us to provide our sponsors with unparalleled access to world-class radiological expertise.
WCC also draws extensive global technology expertise and teleradiology capabilities from our parent company ProScan Imaging, which acquired majority ownership of WCC in 2006. As one of the world's most trusted and experienced radiology providers, ProScan enables us to manage virtually any volume of images for our trials, while evolving our service offerings and expanding our global reach as the imaging industry grows.
WorldCare Clinical is an imaging CRO that employs imaging expertise, innovative technology and operational excellence to maximize the precision and accuracy of a blinded independent central review (BICR) of clinical trial data.
