IIR's Oncology Clinical Trials 2007 Conference

WORLDCARE CLINICAL PRESIDENT TO CO-PRESENT WITH MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL HOSPITAL VICE CHAIRMAN AT ONCOLOGY CLINICAL TRIALS 2007

 

WHO: Giles Boland, M.D., vice chairman, Department of Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital and associate professor of radiology at Harvard Medical School, and Rick Taranto, president of WorldCare Clinical, will present “Imaging in Oncology Clinical Trials: Incorporating Central Review to Maximize Value” at the Institute for International Research’s (IIR) Oncology Clinical Trials 2007 conference. The session will review current industry trends and advances in imaging techniques and technology. Additionally, real-world examples of implementing and using a central radiology review, as well as designing a clinical trial protocol with a central imaging review component will be provided.

 

WHAT: Co-located with the 16th Annual Partnerships with CROs and other Outsourcing Providers event, IIR’s 2nd annual Oncology Clinical Trials 2007 is the only oncology conference focused exclusively on the design and management of clinical trials in oncology, with the goal of reducing costly timelines. The conference provides strategies from IIR with more than fifty senior directors of oncology. Pharma, biotech and academia presenters lend their expertise on tough issues in drug selection, trial design, contracts, patient recruitment, cardiac concerns, and biomarker selection.

WHEN: Oncology Clinical Trials 2007 will take place April 10 -12, 2007. Taranto and Boland will hold their presentation on Thursday, April 12th, at 2:15 p.m.
