WorldCare Clinical Moves Corporate Headquarters

January 28 2008

Boston, Mass.-- WorldCare Clinical, LLC (WCC), a leading imaging clinical research organization (CRO), today announced that it has relocated to Boston, Massachusetts to accommodate growing demand for its services. The company’s headquarters, which include a central reading location, resided formerly in Cambridge, Mass.

WCC’s new headquarters will feature increased space designed to handle the company’s expanding operations. It also provides a state-of-the-art technology infrastructure, with the additional bandwidth, power redundancy and reliability required for WCC’s WorldPro global Web-based clinical trial image management platform. Centrally located in downtown Boston, WCC’s new offices are convenient to the airport, and near public transportation, hotels, cultural sites and parking.

“We are looking forward to our relocation to Boston,” said WCC CEO Rafael Mancera. “This move is a necessary step in the expansion of our services. Our new offices will allow us to handle our increased volume and provide additional capacity.”

Founded in 1992 as part of the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Department of Radiology, WCC has maintained a strategic relationship with the department and remained in close proximity since becoming a separate company in 1995. WCC’s move brings it even closer to MGH to ensure the radiologists have the most efficient access to WCC’s facilities.

WCC also enjoys the support of ProScan Imaging, which acquired majority ownership of WCC in 2006, and now brings its expertise as one of the world’s most trusted and experienced teleradiology providers to WCC’s clinical trial management services.
