MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL HOSPITAL VICE CHAIRMAN AND WORLDCARE CLINICAL PRESIDENT TO CO-PRESENT AT CBI’s 4th ANNUAL
MEDICAL IMAGING FOR CLINICAL TRIALS CONFERENCE

 

WHO: Giles Boland, M.D., vice chairman, Department of Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital and associate professor of radiology at Harvard Medical School, and Rick Taranto, president of WorldCare Clinical, will present “Independent Radiology Review for Oncology – Promise, Practice and Pitfalls” as part of the “Industry Best Practices in Preparing Imaging Data for FDA Review” track at the Center for Business Intelligence’s (CBI) Medical Imaging for Clinical Trials Conference. The session will address the simultaneous promise independent radiologists bring to oncologic review versus the challenges they pose to maintaining quality control, standards, and assessment consistency.

 

WHAT: CBI’s 4th Annual Medical Imaging for Clinical Trials Conference is the fourth installment of the conference series that has served over 400 industry leaders thus far. The event focuses on the use of medical imaging in oncology, particularly the utilization of biomarkers and endpoints in drug development and research.
