WorldCare Clinical (WCC) originated, under a different name, within the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Department of Radiology to provide drug development services to the biopharmaceutical and medical device industries. In 1995 we were organized under new ownership; however, we continued to have a strategic shareholder relationship with the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization (MGPO). Today, this close collaboration with the MGPO's Clinical Trials Program continues to allow WCC to seamlessly deploy teams of therapeutic and scientific experts that work together with our sponsors to design and implement clinical trial imaging protocols with the aim of harmonizing the entire process.
To ensure the highest levels of communication and accessibility, WCC’s corporate offices and central imaging facility are strategically located near MGH in Boston, Massachusetts. Combining WCC’s operational experience with the medical expertise of the Department of Radiology at MGH, we provide our sponsors with reliable data generated by the thought leaders in their respective disease states. In conjunction with the Department of Radiology at MGH, WCC proposes reviewers with relevant experience in the therapeutic area and affected anatomical region being studied for a particular protocol. WCC's unique business model provides our sponsors with access to extensive therapeutic expertise and the flexibility necessary to manage large volumes of images throughout a clinical trial.
Since inception, WCC has provided services from the Department of Radiology at MGH to the biopharmaceutical companies that utilize WCC as their central imaging CRO. Our goal is to assure sponsors get a solid platform for image and data management, with superior customer service, while being offered the medical expertise for multiple therapeutic areas.
