Therapeutic/MedicalWorldCare Clinical’s (WCC) strategic relationship with the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Department of Radiology—one of the world’s preeminent medical institutions—is the foundation of our unique therapeutic model.
Our strategic relationship of more than 14 years allows us to provide our clinical trial sponsors with independent physician reader services by board-certified, sub-specialty trained radiologists. Because we have access to these radiologists in the MGH Clinical Trials Program, we can provide our sponsors with a wide array of therapeutic and medical expertise, and flexibility in handling large volumes of images for their trials.
In addition to MGH physician readers, WCC offers the in-house expertise of24 radiologists from ProScan Imaging, one of the most advanced operators of freestanding diagnostic imaging centers in the world. Depending on the specialized service requested by our sponsor, WCC will work directly with MGH or the University of Chicago Medical Center, with our in-house radiologists, or with radiologists of the sponsor’s choosing anywhere in the world. Our unparalleled image handling expertise and teleradiology network allows for the secure and efficient transfer of clean data worldwide within minutes.
Independent reading services require that all radiologists reading for a clinical trial must complete inter- and intra- variability training prior to any measurements.
Unique to WCC, our rigorous therapeutic model provides our sponsors with:
