WorldCare Clinical’s (WCC) operational expertise comes from our broad experience in managing imaging for global clinical trials in multiple therapeutic fields and modalities. Our highly trained project operations teams are experienced in managing multiple imaging trials on local and global levels, and our quick turnaround time during patient recruitment ensures all eligibility reads are completed within two business days.
WCC’s flexible operations model allows us to design project-specific workflows to accommodate individual sponsor needs. Our rigorous quality assurance and control processes enable us to handle a large number of physician reads without a variance in consistency or accuracy.
WCC’s in-house imaging technologists specialize in multiple modalities and are involved in the development of study-specific site tools. They lead the site qualification process, provide technical support to sites, participate in quality control of images, perform random audit checks, and assist in the review of equipment variability at all participating imaging facilities, alleviating as much of the pressure on sponsors as possible. WCC also offers increased efficiency by reducing the time to verify site image quality, thanks to a quality control process that begins even before image transmission.
We manage imaging sites from a single central reading location using independent physician readers from the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Department of Radiology, the University of Chicago Medical Center, ProScan’s in-house team, or outside radiologists of our sponsor’s choosing anywhere in the world. This model ensures data consistency and better quality control, ultimately providing our sponsors with greater study reliability and faster study completion. ProScan’s extensive experience in managing imaging centers with equipment from a variety of vendors and in interpreting data offers increased viability of results and sponsor peace of mind. And when combined with our experience working with challenging sites all over the world, the WCC operational advantage is clear.
