Board of Directors

WorldCare Clinical’s (WCC) Board of Directors includes:

Stephen Pomeranz, M.D., Chairman. Dr. Pomeranz is the founder, chief executive officer, and medical director of ProScan Imaging, Inc. and ProScan MRI Education Foundation. He is a consultant to numerous medical and imaging institutions and the author of several acclaimed medical imaging texts.

Leslie Shu-Tung Fang, M.D. An assistant clinical professor of medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, Dr. Fang lectures extensively on antibiotics and analgesics. He also holds a Ph.D in physiology and biophysics.

Jeffrey Matthews, M.D. Dr. Matthews is Dallas B. Phemister Professor and Chair, Department of Surgery, the University of Chicago. His clinical expertise includes pancreatic, hepatobiliary, and gastrointestinal surgery. He is currently a director of the American Board of Surgery and previously was president of the Society of University Surgeons.

Michael D. O’Brien. Mr. O’Brien is chief operating officer of ProScan Imaging, the largest independent teleradiology operation in the country. Previously Mr. O’Brien was president of Zoomtown.com and president of Chiquita International. He worked for 12 years at Procter and Gamble.

Hassan S. Sharif, M.D., F.R.C.R. WCC’s former chief executive officer, Dr. Sharif is co-founder, chief medical officer and chief operating officer of WorldCare International. He is a consultant to the Department of Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital and a visiting associate professor at the Harvard Medical School.
