WorldCare Clinical (WCC) has operated imaging services for multiple international trials. We have received and managed data from 45 countries via our central reading facility and headquarters, located in Boston, Massachusetts.

To date we have processed 1 million+ images, enrolled 35,000+ patients, and served 1,500+ investigator sites. Our WorldPro™ technology enables efficient, site-specific communication worldwide, and our secure network provides a seamless data flow between the site, physician reader, and sponsor. And extensive experience with challenging sites means we work closely with sponsors to qualify as many sites as possible, providing the ability to conduct trials in regions otherwise unable to participate.

Managing global imaging data from a single reading location provides sponsors with greater study management consistency and better quality control. Tofacilitate the harmonization of the imaging process:

• Data flow and image quality are supervised by our in-house technology and operations experts, who monitor equipment variability issues and adhere to stringent quality control processes.
• The quality control process begins at the moment of image submission by automated protocol and image data comparison.
• Through our site selection network, we are able to assist our sponsors with the identification and qualification of appropriate imaging centers throughout the world. Our process includes identifying imaging sites with the most appropriate equipment and technology within and outside of our global network.
• Every radiology image is read by one of the radiologists in the MGH Clinical Trials Program, or if more appropriate, by one of our24 in-house radiologists. And a two-day turnaround time between receipt of scan and receipt notification increases efficiency and reduces cost.
• WCC’s project management team is available to resolve issues from any imaging site on a 24/7 basis.
• We provide language translation if needed and we work with imaging formats of all kinds.

Our process for preparing sites, managing data, and submitting images ensures consistency--from Sweden to Singapore, the U.S. to the Ukraine.
