Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Timm is CEO of WorldCare Clinical, joining the company in November 2014. Prior to joining WCC, Mr. Timm served as Chief Executive Officer of Synarc, an imaging CRO. Mr. Timm joined Synarc as General Counsel in 2005 and served as CEO from 2010 until 2014. Earlier in his career, Mr. Timm worked as General Counsel of Vitria Technology, then a publicly-traded software company. Mr. Timm began his career practicing law with Orrick, Herrington, & Sutcliffe LLP in San Francisco. Mr. Timm graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University and with honors from Harvard Law School.
Executive Vice President of Business Development
Thomas P. O'Donnell is Executive Vice President and a Managing Partner of ProScan Imaging. He is responsible for developing and managing global transformational business growth opportunities within the ProScan family of businesses. Mr. O'Donnell is also Executive Vice President of Business Development, Board Member and Managing Partner of WCC, which is part of the ProScan family. Prior to joining ProScan, he was Vice President of Global Late Phase Business Development at Quintiles and was responsible for building EU and Asian Late Phase Sales Teams resulting in significant business growth. Mr. O'Donnell was Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Kendle International, Inc. and was responsible for the development/expansion of preferred provider and strategic alliance relationships with major biopharmaceutical companies.
Richard Walovitch, Ph. D.
Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Walovitch is Chief Scientific Officer of WCC, which he joined as Chief Medical Officer in January 2009. Prior to joining WCC, he served as the Senior Vice President of clinical research at Acusphere, Inc., Vice President of Preclinical and Clinical Research at Epix Medical, and held various positions as Research Pharmacologist and Project Clinician in the Imaging Agent Group at the DuPont Merck Pharmaceutical Company. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute on Drug Abuse's Addiction Research Center in the Neurochemistry section. Dr. Walovitch has a Doctorate in Pharmacology from the University of Illinois Medical Center and a Bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Illinois. He is an author of more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, mostly in the field of medical imaging.
Andrea Falkoff, M.B.A.
Vice President of Operations
Andrea Falkoff oversees the Operations group and all clinical programs at WCC. She has over 10 years of experience in the clinical research industry managing imaging trials for Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Device companies. Ms. Falkoff has a proven track record of ensuring high quality, on time service delivery to clients. Before joining WCC, Ms. Falkoff was Vice President of Imaging Operations at Intrinsic Imaging. Ms. Falkoff also earned her Master's in Business Administration from Boston University, with a concentration in Leadership and Organizational Transformation.
Vice President, Program Management
Matt Heggem oversees the progress and performance of key programs at WCC. He has over 12 years of experience supporting clinical trial programs in the imaging space across various therapeutic areas including Musculoskeletal, Immunology, Neurology, Cardiology, Orthopedics and Oncology. Before joining WCC, Matt held various leadership roles at Synarc and BioClinica, including most recent positions of Managing Director of Global Services and Director of Program & Project Management. To compliment his extensive program management experience, Matt has an MBA with a specialization in Project Management and holds PMP and PgMP certifications from the Project Management Institute.
Director, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs
Rona Osmani is WorldCare Clinical's Director, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. Ms. Osmani has over ten years of experience in GxP within Quality Assurance and is a Certified Clinical Research Professional. As a member of the company's executive team, Ms. Osmani directs quality and compliance initiatives within the corporate Quality Management System based on ICH Q10. Ms. Osmani promotes implementing and maintaining best practices that promote data integrity and inspection-readiness. Previously in her career, Ms. Osmani held quality assurance positions at Bioclinica and Synarc. Ms. Osmani earned a B.A. in Public Health (epidemiology) in 2006 from UC Berkeley.
